The World Economic Forum named me a Young Global Leader, though my career path is stranger than that title suggests: a doctor, fifteen years inside healthcare, a corporate interloper, a self-fashioned public health advocate, a stint researching for the European Space Agency, time spent inside startups and advising investors directly.

The range is the point - it makes me a translator between the lab bench, the clinic, the boardroom, Main Street and the fund.
